This Plan Is in Motion: Phoenix American adds two Indiana hotels to its portfolio
We’ve acquired a preferred interest in two new hotels—Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Homewood Suites! This marks AHP REIT’s second transaction, bringing its total to three hotels owned and operated (and Phoenix American’s total to 17 nationwide). These hotels, both located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, are perfect embodiments of our focus on strategically located, name-brand Premium Select Hotels, with easy access to local hotspots as well as businesses and the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
We’re keeping these hotels open as we revamp the lobby and all 163 guest rooms with new carpeting, wall coverings, window treatments, beds, bathroom fixtures, televisions, furniture, and much more. On top of all that, we’re installing an outdoor patio and kitchen to be shared by both properties. In short, we’re doing our part as owners and managers to improve the cash flow and values of our properties to deliver monthly dividends (which we’re already paying at 8% annually) and growth (estimated within 3–5 years) to our investors.
